Blurb Renovation service customer referral program

Ever since we started our author services business, one of our best sources of new customers has been recommendations from happy existing customers. Seriously, you guys have been awesome. And although we’ve always been super grateful for the love (and business) you’ve sent our way, we decided it’s time to show our appreciation in a more tangible way. So, with that in mind, we’re happy to announce that we offer a referral program to all our blurb renovation service customers. Here are the deets: 

For every new, paying customer you refer to us, we’ll give you a $10 discount on your next blurb renovation. You can combine discounts, too—so if you play your cards right and send us lots of new, paying customers, you just might get all your blurbs done FOR FREE. How freakin’ cool would that be? 

So, now you’re all ready to refer people and you’re wondering what to do next, right?
Step 1: Your author referral code
Whenever you mention our blurb renovation service to another author—even if it’s just a comment you make in one of your author groups on Facebook—make sure to ask them to include your name and author referral code when they send us their blurb renovation request. Your referral code is simple: It’s “RR10 (your last name here)”. So, for example, if Nora Roberts recommended our blurb renovation service to her author friends, she’d reference author referral code “RR10Roberts”. 

(By the way, if you can somehow manage to get Ms. Nora to recommend our blurb renovation service to her author friends, forget the $10 discount. I’ll give you free blurbs FOR LIFE. Not even kidding.)

Step 2: How it works
We’ll keep track of all the referrals that come our way. When you pay for a new blurb renovation, we’ll reference our records to see if you’re due any discounts. If we find that you are, we’ll issue you a refund in the amount of the credit owed to you.

Step 3: The fine print
  1. We will not issue retroactive referral discounts. So, for example, if you send us a new paying customer today, we will not refund you $10 on a blurb renovation we did for you three months ago. However, we WILL refund you $10 on the next NEW blurb you send our way. 
  2. The referral fee is $10 per each new PAYING customer you send our way. Non-paying customer referrals don’t count. So, for example, if you tell your good friend Karen Authorsmith to use our services, but Karen never follows through and has us do any work for her, we appreciate your efforts on our behalf, but we cannot give you a referral discount.  
  3. The referral program is only for the blurb renovation service. No referral discounts are currently offered for our other services. (But stay tuned...you never know...)
