My to-be-read list is out of control, y’all. Totally, completely, out of control. So, since I tend to review just about everything I read for the site, I thought I should check and see what YOU wanted to see me review. So, here’s the top choices on my TBR list right now. If you want to vote for the book you most want to see reviewed on the site, it’d be a win-win for both of us. Please and thanks.

Age gap romance is a pretty divisive trope in Romancelandia. For me, it all depends on the author. A great author can create age gap romance that I adore. In the hands of the wrong author...well, it can all fall to crap pretty quickly. But, the good news is that I know PLENTY of great age gap romances that are handled beautifully (in my not-so-humble opinion). So, without further ado, get ready to 1-click!
I’m going to go ahead and part with a nasty little secret. I’m so, so, SO tired of billionaire romance heroes. Where are all the hot guys with regular jobs in Romancelandia? Well, here’s some of them. We just need MORE LIKE THESE. These blue-collar romance heroes are hotter than any 10 billionaires. Enjoy!
Are you sick of toothpick-sized heroines in romance novels? Looking for some realism instead? If that’s the case, you’ll love these BBW (Big Beautiful Woman) heroines. Enjoy!
Who doesn’t love a good fairy tale retelling? Here are some awesome choices to fill up your Kindle and brighten your weekend. You’re welcome!
With COVID-19 out there (and a bunch of crazy people hoarding toilet paper and hand sanitizer), it’s made us put some thought into our picks for the best book boyfriends we wouldn’t mind being quarantined with (you know...as one does). So, here are some of our all-time favorite book boyfriends who’d be GREAT company (for a variety of reasons, not just the dirty ones. Ahem) in the stay-home apocalypse.
Reads where the stakes are literally life and death and the main villain is Mother freakin’ Nature? Yes, please!! So without further ado, here are our picks (and our readers’ picks) for the most awesome “we survived Mother Nature and fell in love while we did it” romance reads. Enjoy!
Contrary to popular opinion in Hollywood, men and women who have done horrible, horrible things in their pasts can be redeemed and don’t have to die in order to earn that redemption. (Yes, I’m looking at you, JJ Abrams) And to prove it can be done, here are some romance authors who pulled it off beautifully. Seriously...these are some great reads featuring troubled men and women who redeemed themselves and earned their happily ever afters. Happy reading!
OK, so we’ve talked about contemporary, rom com, and paranormal romance series you should binge read immediately. Now it’s time to give romantic suspense the same treatment. Get ready to 1-click, folks. There’s some great stuff here…
A while ago, we talked about contemporary romance series you should binge read immediately, and rom com series you should binge read immediately. With that in mind, we didn’t want paranormal romance fans to feel left out, so here are some of our favorite bingeable paranormal series. You’re welcome.
Last week, we talked about contemporary romance series you’ll want to binge read immediately. The response to that list was so positive that we thought we better give our favorite rom coms their own list. Just don’t plan to do anything other than read this weekend, OK? You’ll thank me later.
Look, I enjoy a good Netflix binge session as much as the next person but you can only watch so much TV before your brain starts turning to mush. So before your poor gray matter becomes gelatinous goo, why not binge a few great contemporary romance series instead? Here are some suggestions that’ll fill up your free time nicely. You’re welcome.
Some of my first romance reads were historical westerns, and they hold a special place in my heart to this day. Here are some of my favorites, as well as some of our super-smart readers’ favorites. Enjoy!
These heroines have been through THINGS, y’all. But they’ve all lived to tell the tale and find their happily ever afters. What’s more inspiring than that? And couldn’t we all use a little inspiration these days?
I don’t really want to talk about The Rise of Skywalker anymore. I already did that. I could rant for a hundred years about why I want to throat-punch JJ Abrams, why Rose, Hux, Rey, and especially BEN SOLO (yes, I used the shout-y caps) were done really dirty in the film, and why The Last Jedi was superior to TRoS in nearly every way. But I won’t. That’s been done to death (and frankly, it’s hard to get me to STOP talking about it once I start). What I WILL do at this point is recommend some AWESOME enemies-to-lovers romances that might help you get over your disappointment with that dumpster fire of an ending TRoS had.
