![]() ’ve seen sooooo many book lists that claim to contain romance novels, when in reality, only a few of them would really qualify. It seems to stem from the misconception that a romance novel is just a book about a man wooing a woman. (I got that one from Reader’s Digest, y’all) Some folks seem to think that if there’s a love story involved, it’s a romance novel. That’s a concept that’s so patently ridiculous that I’m not sure whether to laugh or roll my eyes. Using that logic, you could call The Terminator a romantic movie because Kyle Reese loved Sarah Connor and travelled across time for her. Clearly, it’s NOT a romantic movie. (Totally off topic, though: Props to 1984 Michael Biehn who was totally hot in the role of Kyle Reese. Well done, sir. Well done. But I digress...) So, what IS a romance novel? Glad you asked. Here at Romance Rehab, we’re BIG Avengers fans. So, in honor of the release of Avengers: Endgame, we wanted to take the opportunity to combine our love of Avengers with our love of romance novels and make some fabulous book recommendations to all you fine folks. You’re welcome. So, without further ado, here are some romances you’ll LOVE based on your favorite Avengers character.
(Note: Yes, we realize some of our recs are urban fantasy, not really romance. But they all have a strong romantic element, so we stand by our picks. And, it’s our list and no one is the boss of us, so there’s that. Let’s not get judgy and just have fun with this, m’kay?)

This week will officially mark the beginning of the Taurus zodiac sign. It’s known that Taurus peeps are patient, reliable, persistent, determined, and warm-hearted.
So, with that in mind, for your binge-reading pleasure, you’ll need some generous, warm heroines with a resilient spirit and maybe a few nice-guy heroes. Try these: Not too long ago, we talked about why Dean Winchester (the fabulous Jensen Ackles of Supernatural fame and my future second husband) would make an awesome book boyfriend, but a lousy real life one. Unfortunately, the same can be said for lots of book boyfriends. Because, let’s face it, while we all love to read about demon hunters, shape shifters, bad boy rockstars, mafia kingpins, biker club presidents, vampires, and sexy hit men, these types of guys just wouldn’t make for good, practical, everyday boyfriend material. So, with that in mind, today’s list features sexy, upstanding, hard-working romance novel heroes who would be the kind of real life boyfriend you’d be happy to introduce to your family. Happy reading, y’all!
First of all, sorry about the headline pun. I couldn’t help myself. But seriously, for those of us who are graceless clods (like me), what could be more romantic than stories about dancers falling in love? So, that’s what we have for you today: romance novels featuring dancers of all styles and backgrounds. Enjoy!
