There are few things I love more in romance novels than a strong, silent hero. You know, the kind of hero who doesn't say much, but when he DOES communicate, it's always something important (or hot). So, with that in mind, here are a few of my favorite strong, silent heroes (for now, because I reserve the right to update or change the list at ANY time):

I went looking for romance novels that had totally banana-pants crazy plot elements (you know, for escapism from reality), and the interwebs did not let me down. Here's what I found:
You know that part towards the end of a lot of romance novels where the couple breaks up, everything is bleak, and it looks like they'll never find their way back to each other? Well, that's called the 3rd act breakup, and as it turns out, a lot of readers hate it. Personally, if done well, I think a 3rd act breakup can be super emotional and make for great reading. But that doesn't mean I don't also appreciate the hell out of books that manage to have no 3rd act breakup. So, for all you 3rd act breakup haters out there, here's a list of a few romances that bucked the trend, had their couples talk out their differences, and made it to happily ever after with a minimum amount of angst:
