So, a while back, I put together a rock star romance list and got RIPPED A NEW ONE for one of my recommendations. (I stand by that recommendation, by the way--but if you're curious, check out the comments here.) Long-story-short, this reader was irritated that one of the books featured a rock star with addiction issues and a checkered sexual history (ahem)--and he wasn't very nice to his newest female employee. While I didn't agree with what this individual had to say (she wasn't very kind and didn't use her inside voice, that's for SURE), it did make me realize that manwhores and alpha jerkwads DO seem to show up a lot in rock star romances. BUT, as with anything else in life, there are exceptions, of course. So, with that in mind, here are my favorite rock star romances that do NOT feature a manwhore or alpha jerkwad lead. Yes, I'm still in a horrific book slump. But that doesn't mean I'm ready to give up. In fact, there are several new releases coming up this month that I'm crazy-excited for.
