Plot overview: Sonia asks her sexy jerk of a billionaire boss to be her plus one at a wedding so that she doesn’t have to look like a loser in front of her ex and his new girlfriend. It’s an office, billionaire, fake relationship, enemies-to-lovers romance.
The main problem with this book, for me, wasn’t the writing. The writing was perfectly fine. I took issue with the characters.
First of all...Brad. He’s the lesser of two evils in this book, as far as I’m concerned. Here’s what I didn’t like about him:

So, while it was far from the worst thing I’ve ever read, I didn’t enjoy this one and won’t be sticking around for more in the series. It’s too bad, really. It had so many of my favorite tropes…
Does this book contribute to or help crush the romance stigma?
Not really stigma-y, but not doing much to crush the stigma, either. It’s just sort of...there. Like mildew on bathroom tile.
