Desmoree was an interesting character. She was smart and capable, and certainly didn’t lack confidence, which was refreshing.
But, sadly, my reading experience wasn’t all sunshine, happiness and rainbows. I have a few gripes:
But, minor gripes notwithstanding, this is a book I’d recommend to urban fantasy readers who enjoy the intricate world of the Fey. The author obviously has a great talent for storytelling, and I expect great things from her as this series continues. Full disclosure: we received an ARC from the author free of charge.
