GREAT sexy romance novels with main characters who are over 40

Once upon a time, a literary agent told me writers shouldn't even bother creating romance heroes and heroines over 29 years of age because "no one wants to read about old people having sex." Needless to say, that agent was a douchecanoe of the highest order. And also, she was WRONG. Because here are some awesome romance novels with characters who are over 35 (you know, for those of us who prefer "seasoned" and "mature" reads):

The Count by Monica Corwin is a Count of Monte Cristo retelling with both H and h over 40! Thanks for a great list for us folks looking for books that aren't 18/20 year olds.

Her LOVE & DISASTER Trilogy features heroes and heroines over 40.

Thank you for sharing, I am always on the hunt for mature romance. We have plenty of mature Women’s Fiction books. But many folks and bloggers get these two confused! Romance always has a hea for both fmc and mc. Women’s Fiction can be hea or not.
I also found a paranormal romance series that features a divorcee and her 15 yr old daughter. Called Wolf’s Bane by Auryn Hadley. It is a reverse harem-so one woman and several men. Also spicy. But a great story and a Latina woman. So. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I love LB Dunbar’s books. Also check out Dirty Little Midlife Crisis series. By Lillian Monroe. Each book features a mature fmc and mc. Different couples but all intertwining.
Also Susan Stoker has a military romance book coming out soon with mature fmc and mc. Called Finding Jodelle. Her books are soooo good!!
