My favorite Pamela Clare books and why I think EVERYONE should read them

Pamela Clare is an author that I auto buy. I don't read her blurbs. I don't look at book price. I see her name and I download. It's just that simple. And as it turns out, she's had a rough few years (mostly because cancer SUCKS). There's a GoFundMe right now to help this wonderful woman who is not only a talented author who has brought joy to millions of people, but who is also a huge supporter of the romance and self-publishing communities. If you can't afford to donate to the GoFundMe, another great way to show your support is to read and review her books. So, that said, here are some of my favorites that I think everyone should read:

Unlawful Contact

So, this is actually book 3 in the author's I-Team series about a super intelligent group of investigative journalists and the men who win their hearts, but each book can be read as a standalone. I highly recommend you read the whole series because each book is totally awesome, but this particular book will always hold a special place in my heart. The hero, Marc, is the perfect example of a tough, alpha hero who is never an alphahole. This story is also a sweet, incredibly hot second chance romance, which is one of my favorite tropes. All-in-all, it's a 10/10 read.    

Skin Deep

This I-Team novella features one of my favorite heroes of all time--and I've been reading romance for over 30 years, so when I say OF ALL TIME, that's a big deal. Nate is a wounded warrior who is, quiet possibly, the nicest, most patient and loving guy to ever grace Romancelandia. Seriously, just read the book. You won't be disappointed.   

Cobra International Security, Books 1-3

This is kind of cheating because it's a box set, but it's my list of faves, so I do what I want. :) But anyhoo, this series is everything romantic suspense should be: intricately plotted, action packed, emotional, and sexy. Each book is so well done that I can easily imagine them being adapted into high-budget Netflix features.   

Barely Breathing

Yep. She does hot contemporary romance, too. 

Fire and Rain

This military romance series starter is so freakin' emotional it'll have you BEGGING for more.  

Surrender

Oh, didn't know she wrote historical romance, too? If you didn't, you're missing out.
