You all know how to play, right? Only let’s not make this a drinking game, because here at Romance Rehab, we’d end up with alcohol poisoning…
Finished a book in 1 sitting
Stayed up all night reading
Cried over the death of a fictional character
Threatened someone’s life for interrupting me while I was reading
Told someone to eff off for asking what my favorite book is
(as if I could choose just ONE!)
Judged someone based on their bookshelves
Unfriended someone who didn’t like my favorite book
Gotten a weird look from someone while I sniffed an old book
Bought a new book, even though I have hundreds of other books,
waiting on my TBR list
Spent more in a week on books than I have on food
Written to an author to ask what the hell is taking so long
and when I’ll get the next damn book in the series
Explained to someone, in depth, why the book
was better than the movie
Been irritated with real life for interrupting my reading time
Broken up with someone who told me they “don’t like to read”
Forgotten to eat because I was too busy reading
Argued with someone (in person or online)
who left a bad review for a book I loved
Snort-laughed in public while reading
Sobbed in public while reading
Not been able to start reading a new book because I’m too emotionally wrecked by the previous book I read
Thrown a book that didn’t end the way I wanted it to (so that it could sit there on the floor and THINK about what it did wrong)
What about all you other book lovers out there? Anything you’d like to add? Let us know!
