omorrow is an incredibly important day. It’s a day that should be observed reverently. I’m speaking, of course, about the Netflix release of Stranger Things, season 3. (Oh, and it’s Independence Day for those of us in America, too. Or, as my dogs think of it, Terrible Boom Boom Nightmare Day. That’s pretty important too, I suppose. But I digress…) So, to celebrate this most auspicious of occasions, we bring you this special list of romance novels you’ll adore based on your favorite Stranger Things character. Happy reading, and happy Stranger Things Eve!
NOTE: Just so you know, not EVERY character on the show is on our list. We could be here all day if we did that. So YES, we’re aware that Bob and Nancy and Barb and Max aren’t on the list. There’s no need to point that out. This is just for fun, m’kay? Let’s not argue. If your fave character isn’t on the list...bygones.
Hopper
We’re totally rooting for this cynical, tough, been-through-some-rough-times cop to find his happily ever after (hopefully with Joyce, fingers crossed) this season. He deserves it. And if Hopper is your favorite character, you won’t want to miss these reads:

A genetically modified, super-powered, ass-kicking machine? Yes, please!! In the history of coolest kick-ass women EVER, Eleven holds her own quite nicely. So do these heroines:

Other top must-reads:
And even more:
Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Will
These are the ultimate nice guys. They’re loyal and sweet and selfless...and maybe a smidge nerdy sometimes. So if sweet-as-cinnamon-rolls heroes are your cuppa, you won’t want to miss these:

Steve
If you’d asked me what I thought of Steve at the beginning of season 1, I wouldn’t have had too many nice things to say. But late in season 1 and throughout season 2, it became clear that Steve is a GREAT guy. He’s every bit as sweet and kind as Will, Mike, Dustin, and Lucas—so, we hope he finds his happily ever after this season, too. And in the meantime, here’s even more Steve-like romance heroes for you to binge read:
OUR #1 PICK

And even more:
Billy Hargrove
Look, we realize Billy is NOT all that great a guy. He was fairly douche-y last season. But we got a few little glimpses of his home life that led us to believe he just MIGHT be redeemable. So, if troubled, angsty, not-so-nice guys who are eventually redeemed are your jam, you’ll want to 1-click THESE right away:

Jonathan
If the somewhat reclusive loner with an artistic soul is your kind of guy (and he’s totally our kind of guy, so no judgement here), then you won’t want to miss THESE reads:

Well, what say you? Anything Stranger Things or book related you’d like to discuss? We’d love to hear from you!
