I’m here, once again, to rant all over a book 90% of the romance reading public apparently adored. Again.
Sigh. It gives me no pleasure to do this. I’ve read J. Daniels books in the past and really liked them. I have no idea what happened with this one. So, here it goes. (*Take deep breath*)
Here’s the odds and ends that almost made me almost DNF at several points:
I could probably go on, but why? I think I’ve wasted enough of my time on these completely immature, annoying, slap-happy, angsty quarter-wits. I wish them both good luck finding their HEA, but if I’m being honest, I see LOTS of stupid misunderstandings and an ugly divorce in their future. Does this book contribute to or help crush the romance stigma? It’s a stigma fest. Blech. Other reading suggestions The plot is nothing similar, but the cover reminded me a lot of Sawyer Bennett’s Sugar Daddy, which is a great read. I highly recommend that one instead of this one.
