I only recently discovered that warm, low-angst romances that radiated nothing but joy and good vibes and had very little strife between protagonists had an official name. Those romances are now called cozy romances, and I ADORE them. Here are a few (only a few, because I have TONS) of my faves: Note: spice levels vary, but all of the books on this list have explicit sex scenes. Most of these also include cussing, and some include a little bit of serious subject matter (no tearjerkers, though). But ALL fit my definition of cozy romance. If you don't agree, that's fine, but don't argue with me. It's my list and no one is the boss of me. Monster Match by Isabel JordanA sweet but spicy Frankenstein retelling with one of the most wonderful, thoughtful heroes to ever grace my Kindle. And there's rescue dogs. It's a win all around. You can check out my 5-star review HERE. Rafe by Rebekah WeatherspoonRafe is the tattooed, bearded, muscle-y nanny who signs on to care for Dr. Sloan Copeland's adorable daughters. The story is all kinds of adorable while still being so, so, so (did I say so) very HOT. You can check out my 5-star review HERE, but seriously...just buy it. You won't be sorry. Bet Me by Jennifer CrusieI literally could've picked ANY Crusie read for this list because she's a GODDESS when it comes to cozy romances. But her reads can be kind of expensive, and even though they're worth EVERY PENNY (seriously, go to the library and read her entire backlist if you can't afford to buy copies), Bet Me is currently in Kindle Unlimited, so I figure it's a little more accessible to most of my followers. You're welcome. That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon by Kimberly LemmingThis book is EVERYTHING I ever wanted in a cozy fantasy romance. EVERYTHING. You can check out my full, 5-star review HERE. But if you're not reading this author's work, you're missing out BIG TIME. In a Jam by Kate CanterbaryThe hero is SO soft for the heroine that it makes me giddy. The pining, the longing... *chef's kiss* A Very Friendly Valentine's Day by Kayley LoringI could've put any Kayley Loring book on this list because in my opinion, all her books fit my description of a cozy romance. But I chose this one, 1) because it's phenomenal, and 2) because Valentine's Day is coming up. Enjoy... Egomaniac by Vi KeelandSo. Much. Witty. Banter. It's all as perfect as the guy on this cover. You can check out my full review HERE. Morning Glory Milking Farm by CM NascostaI know if doesn't *look* like it'd be cozy. But it is. I beg you to trust me on this one. And you can check out my review HERE. The Love Hypothesis by Ali HazelwoodYes, it's adorable. No, you don't have to be a Reylo to love it. (Although I am, in fact, a Reylo. #BenSoloLives) Make It Sweet by Kristen CallihanIt's adorable, it's hot, it's in Kindle Unlimited. What more could you want?? Neighbors With Benefits by Isabel JordanY'all...they fall in love while playing pranks on the bitchy HOA president. It's EVERYTHING. Full review HERE. Unbreakable by Melanie HarlowSecond chance romance, mature characters, and one of my all-time favorite Harlow heroes. And even though it's part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. Love everything about it. The Mogul and the Muscle by Claire KingsleyI'm going to recommend this book over and over again until everyone on the planet has read it. You can check out my review HERE. But what about y'all? Any cozy romances I should add to my TBR? Share with the class!
